ERIC VAN STANDIFER

President

Mr. Standifer has over 30 years of experience in trading and managing various products and services in the brokerage business. Prior to forming Robert Van Securities, Inc. in 1991, he worked as a broker for Merrill Lynch and Sutro & Co. from 1981 to 1991. Mr. Standifer is a Certified Public Accountant, a General Securities Principal, Registered Municipal Principal, Registered Options Principal, Registered Investment Advisor, and Registered Representative. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Manhattan College.

TIMOTHY O’BRIEN

Executive Vice President – Sales & Trading

Mr. O’Brien has over 24 years of experience in the sales, trading execution, and clearing of domestic equity and taxable fixed income products. Prior to joining Robert Van Securities in 1992, he was an assistant vice president for Sutro & Company and Dean Witter Reynolds, where he worked on BIS (Branch Institutional Sales) teams. Mr. O’Brien is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, with a B.S. in Social Science/Education.

STEVEN SINGLETON

Executive Vice President – Director of Research

Steven brings over 29 years experience developing fundamental, technical and quantitative models to understand the various factors that affect stock price and equity portfolio performance and is the creator of ELROI Research Analytics®.  Prior to joining Robert Van Securities in 1995, he spent over 10 years in the Financial Information Service business with FactSet, IDC and Lotus One Source, selling and supporting services that provide analysis and manipulation of fundamental, expectation and pricing data.  He is a General Securities Principal, Registered Representative, Registered Investment Advisor and Registered Research Analyst (FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, 65, 86, 87).  He was Portfolio Manager with Woodford Capital Management.  He earned a B.A. in Mathematics/Economics from Claremont McKenna College ( formerly Claremont Men’s College ).  He is a member of the CFA Institute, CFA Society of San Francisco and the Society of Quantitative Analysts.

MANNY SMALL

Executive Vice President – National Sales Manager

Mr. Small has over 20 years of experience in the sales and trading of Fixed Income and Equity Securities for institutions. Over the last several years, he has sold fixed income instruments to institutions at multiple firms, including Tucker Anthony, Oppenheimer & Company and Utendahl Capital. Mr. Small graduated from Brooklyn College with a B.A. in Economics and received an MBA in Finance from New York University Business School.
